Preferably on the PC or on Consoles up to the PS3 (I don't own any current gen consoles). I also would it like not to be a top-down cRPG, or a turn-based RPG. Basically a Monster Hunter game with levels, abilities and stats besides on the gear, and an actual, coherent story to it.īreath of the Wild is more something for what I am looking for, if it just had more RPG and character building elements. Professions like the 3DS title Fantasy Life where it was a huge part of the game to make stuff, is what I am looking for.

Both had huge worlds and lots of side-quests, but were fairly linear.įF Type-0 on the PSP was also something I enjoyed quite a bit.ĭragon's Dogma is also a favorite of mine, but I am looking for more "micromanagement" in terms of talents and builds and content besides questing (be it the main story or side quests), thus "offline MMORPG". Xenoblade Chronicles 1 was great, I also loved Final Fantasy 12. Skyrim was too open for me, and I would explore it for hours without going anywhere in particular and finding lots of useless places. For example, I preferred Witcher 1 over Witcher 3. Well, it seems that the today's market is abundant in such games, but I also have some things that I really don't want to play anymore: a sandbox open world game like Skyrim, or Witcher 3. lots of side-quests, raid-like dungeons or instances. Levels and gear, talents and spells, professions, classes, jobs, crafting.

Now, I don't mean an MMORPG that you can also play offline and online, but just an offline, singleplayer game with MMORPG-esque elements. (Just putting this out as an option, IAMDESPERATE)
Hell, it can even be a RTS as far as I am concerned something like Battlecry 3, or Warcraft 3, with a better, more explorable map and sides quests. Stat micromanagement (through abilities and stats allocations)ĭid I mention jobs and professions (crafting)? Lots of side CONTENT (from quests to jobs, etc.) Talents and professions (Character building) A game with a meaningful crafting system, but also a meaningful leveling/talent-tree system, and a huge, non-sandbox world or in other words a de-facto "Offline MMORPG".
